Haynes V70 Manual V70-XC70 2000

I noticed in the latest IPD catalog that they are now offering the UK version of Haynes V70 manual. Has anyone seen this one, and if so, how do you like it. I imagine that the differences between US cars and UK cars are probably mostly minor ones. Also, it only covers up to 99. Are there any major differences between 99 and 00 for the XC that anyone is aware of? Thanks for any and all comments.

Re: Haynes V70 Manual V70-XC70 2000

Chip,

I purchased that manual for my '99 S70, and it seems to be as good as any other Haynes manual. Worth the $35 that I paid, but....

The online Alldata service seems to be far more complete, as it includes dealer service bulletins and diagrams that appear to be right out of Volvo publications. Unfortunately, they only cover up to the '98 models -- for now. Regardless, I purchased a year long subscription to the '98 S70 T5, and it has helped out with a few problems already. For $20 / year, it's much more complete, even if it doesn't cover they most current models.

Re: Haynes V70 Manual V70-XC70 99

The only differences beyond the 99 is that the 00 has SIPS II, WHIPS,a 5 speed automatic and different alloy rims. Other than that they are basically identical. If you get the catalog and it's decent let me know I need one too.
