Headliner 850 1993

Has anyone pulled the headliner out of an 850? I'm thinking front seat removal should give enough room, but want to make certain before I start this next week.

Thanks

Let us know how it goes. Mine is sagging over the rear seats and has started to pull out over the C pillars (Wagon).

I don't have time to mess with it now but in a few months, after the move, I'd like to pull the headliner and reattach the fabric.

    Good luck,

    Erwin

The visor electrical connection is behind the A pillars plastic cover.

Ain't never done this, so I am of no help.

Once you disconnect visors, grab handles and the lights between the visors you remove it through the trunk. Just fold rear seats down and walk it out. Much easier than with the 7 and 9 series. This is from the green book. Do not forget the plastic holder middle back portion of headliner.

When I did mine I took out the front seats.Watch out for this: I never found connectors for the sun visors And I had to cut the wires and splice them back on assembly. Also be extra careful to remove the plastic things that hold the sun visor and the two ones in the back right above the rear window.Good luck
