Dash LCD display 850

The dash LCD display is entirely off on my '94 850 Turbo wagon. I can't see the clock, mileage, temperature etc.. This happened after I jumpstarted the battery after I came back from a 3-week vacation. The bulb lights are working but not the entire LCD display.
Any help on what is the problem and how to restore it? I checked the fuses and they're all fine.

Thanks for any help and suggestions

Fred

You might have fried the 2 12V micro bulbs in the dash that illuminate the display when you jumped the battery.

If you have never had the instrument panel off, it is a good time to replace all of the bulbs. Just beware: The vacuum line for the boost gauge has a connector behind the left foot kick panel which you need to undo, and there are 3 electrical connectors, one for the computer which is on the bottom of the cluster.

The lcd display uses to bulbs. If the bulbs are bad, you can't see the numbers.

Tapping from all angles and with varying strengths didn't restore the display. It's still blank.

If you mean the reset button for the knob by the dash, yes I reset it and it didn't do anything.
