Hello everyone,

My blower motor in my 2005 V70, intermittantly does not shut off. I understand that the fan will stay on to dry off the evaporator. However, it will stay on until the battery is dead. There are no messages in the message center, nor are there any lights on the dash.

Battery is still good, verified w/ local Interstate Battery store.
Discussed w/ local dealer, & they noted that the computer should shut it down before the battery is dead, leaving a start or two in the battery.

1. Is there a way to reset the computer?

2. Where is the drain located? Maybe it is clogged, therefore not allowing the evaporator to dry out?

3. Are there any moisture sensors that could cause this if faulty. If so, anyone know where it is located & how to change?

4. Today the dealer note that it could be the blower motor, which did not make any sense to me, as it is working.

5. I'm new to the car, are there any codes to read, if so, where/what are they. Is there a code reader available? Any recommendations on where to buy?
