Plugged windshield washer V70-XC70 1998

The passenger side windshield washer recently stopped spraying. I recall reading something on this board about a check valve and/or in-line filter to check on the hose from the washer pump. Is this a common occurence? Any input would be most appreciated.

On the other side of the hood, just under the nozzles resides "delivery valves" and they commonly clog on '98 and newer cars. I'd advise replacing both and they're different parts too.

Re: Plugged windshield washer S70 1998

John is right.

Buy a spare for each side as well. I've found that they only go out during the times when your windshield is most dirty.

They shouldn't cost more than @$8.00 each. Of course, if your car is still under warranty--demand that the dealer replace them FOC.

It worked for me once.

Good luck.

Bryan
