growling 850 850

1995 850 wagon- non turbo: I get a growling, vibration. I believe it is coming from the rear, but as you know, these things travel. If I had a driveshaft, I would say it was like a worn U-joint or the exhaust is touching something. I checked the CV joints, no issues there. I checked the motor mounts and found no leaks and no cracked parts.
Being a 95, should I be concerned about the rear bearings? 170,000 miles. Should I change the engine mounts as 'preventive'? I don't know if it coming from the engine, but as I accelerate slowly, you can feel the vibes in the floor, with a mild growl.
Having known this car for so many years, this feeling/ sound has developed over the past one year... Any ideas?

Hi, I would support the engine mount on passanger side fender based on age and miles. You need to take it apart to see if it's worn out or not, pretty easy diy.

If it is a bearing, roll down the rear windows and listen. The engine mount on the passenger fender is past due for cracking and needs to be looked at again. So do the rubber exhaust hangers.

Bearings are easy to check, just jack up the car and shake the wheel.
