Exhaust Manifold Problem? S70

The mesh outer sleeve on the exhaust manifold is worn off. There is no leak in the system. However, the inner metal accordion sleeve is stretched and moves around. Can this cause a problem? The car is a 1998 Volvo non turbo S70 with 114K miles.

When that sleeve is cracked, it must be replaced. Check the engine mounts for failure along with missing exhaust hangers, allowing for too much play in the exhaust.
