Debating between these two models to replace my 91 940SE. I've driven the second one, but my only reservation is that it doesn't have heated seats, trivial I know.

The first one, my hesitation is that it has the wood inlays opposed to the brushed aluminum.

I guess my questions are on the more trivial side, how hard are heated seats to install, second, how hard is it to replace the wood trim with brushed aluminum.

Finally, what should I be looking for as far as these two vehicles go? I've never purchased a "new" vehicle before.

I am still mourning the sale of my '96 965.

I now have a lower mileage S60 T5 and I would in retrospect wish I could awake and find my old 965 back in my driveway!

Nothing against the S60, but I think a 940 is a superior car in many ways.

Who knows, maybe I will eventually warm-up to the S60.

I liked the 08 more than the 06. But, don't compromise! Keep looking for great deals, they are out there. Heated seats are not something you want to find and install, even if the wires are already in the car.

Keep looking, expand your search area, and look some more. Test drive some locally to get a feel for the car. If you want AWD, and PA has its share of nasty winter days, then add that to your list of must haves.

If you are going to spend a lot of money, make sure it is what you want.
