preheater hose no longer with me 850 1994

I have a 1994 854, no turbo. My preheater hose, that feeds into my air filter from my exhaust system has rotted away. the hose is spent and the aluminum housing that fits over the exhaust pipe has corroded and rattles along as I drive. So today I took them off and now my check engin light is on. Anyone know why? I haven't had a chance to check my computer yet for codes. Any advice before I start would be great. Thanks.

    The preheater hose falling off will not set the CEL. Some of the other air hoses just might have holes in them. If you do not fix leaky hoses, including vacuum lines, you will get O2 sensor and MAF codes.
