I had my '97 850 ABS module rebuilt, not by Vic. After installing the module, the ABS light is still on and now the speedometer isn't working. Is the ABS supposed to reset on its own? What happened to the speedometer?

    You were supposed to pull the fuse for the ABS system when you pulled the module. Did you put it back in?

    The ABS light should go out when you pass 20mph the first time after start up.

    Your speedometer should be working. The speed signal goes through the ABS module to the instrument cluster. Verify that the electrics are plugged in securily at the ABS module.

      I just reinstalled my ABS module repaired by Victor and all seems good. His instructions made a big deal ow to reconnect the cable to the module. You might retrace you steps.
