A./C Clutch Adventure in 00-V70 V70-XC70 2000

So here is my installment into the breadclip fix. I read some confused posts about this so I decided to post a photo of my finished "product" and my tools.
So first I removed the air dam and then jacked up the car after I figured the compressor is the thing with the accesory belt. I used several counter pressure techniques of pushing and pulling with needle pliers and little screw drivers to slide home made six aluminum clips. The clips were pliabe enough to slide in the center of the plate and shove under the half circle pieces making up the "hazard shape" on the clutch plate. I then folded remaining material over the top with more glue. All the while hoping my gorilla glue doesn't dry (remembered I needed water for the bond). Turn on car and it was a little rough but smoothed out, hopefully glue on the belt or my tinkering didn't break anything. So brave V70ers does this picture look right ? I guess I can't put it directly in the post.

So here is a clearer pick, not necessarily better. So I now notice that when the clutch "spins on" I cant really see an opening movement. Before I could see the plate lift out. Not sure if the A/C is really better, am I doomed ?

    Just a little blurred V70-XC70 2000

You need to change the camera setting to 'portrait' or 'macro' for closeups. I usually have the flash off bor even better results, a trouble light for back lighting if needed.
