850 overcharge/ K and N 850 1994

Just got my 850 running via the local Volvo experts. Was overcharging at 15.6 V. Relatively unheard of. New alt and battery. Anyway car seems to perform well although I would say it was neglected for 2-3 years. I have owned many 700s and have a 900, but don't know my way around the FWDs to say the least.

Car runs fine, idles high at 2.1k. I have one of these coming:

I need one for inspection and it seems like a good idea. I have a K&N filter coming. I will have the pros do the timing belt when I can afford it.

My question is what should I be doing as a matter of PM since I realize that this 850T has not been tended to properly? I know with the b230's certain aspiration aspects of the engine need frequent replacement/inspection, like all the little hoses on the intake manifold.

Thanks for any help, and what is the general opinion on the K&N air filter?
