In the past few days my speedometer and odometer failed to work for a few minutes upon start up, then they started working. I got and cleared a P0600 code. I've had other symptons, but these are the most severe. I bought the E5 Torx socket and am planning on pulling the module and sending it to Victor. I just want to make sure I'm doing the right thing before I start.

Victor's removal instructions are for 2000-10 70 series. Is everything the same for my 1999? Thanks

Hello, P6000: Serial Communication Link Malfunction. E-mail Vic and he'll advise you. With no personal experience I'd bet it is your ABS unit and there'd be no difference in removal procedure. Kira ps #1, How many miles are on your 1999? #2, Please post back to this thread and tell us how things went. K
