question about a/c filler cap 850

Hello everyone. I want to know if the cap on the R134a filler hole has an O ring on the very top (inside the cap).

Mine doesn't have one and I've seen on other cars they tend to have one. Just trying to find a small leak here.

Just wondering, leaking R134a from the evaporator harmful to occupants time? I assume it gets blown around in the cabin and inhaled.

Mine is leaking in the coil under the dash. the mechanic wants $1600.00 to fix it. I add a couple of cans every summer and we're good.

I can almost guarantee that at least one of your flexable ac lines has developed a small leak where the ends are crimped.

It is just a dust cover. The 6NM means finger tighten only, it does not hold any pressure. It is just a schrader valve, use a bicycle valve tightener if it is loose.

Most 850s start to leak at the evaporator or the receiver/drier bottle gets holes in it.

Mine was just a cap, (no o ring) with a strap attached so it doesn't fall and get lost. It is my feeling that the cap is just a dust cover and does not hold back any pressure at all. I'm also guessing that over tightening it might be bad.
