radiator update 850

Just wanted to update some previous posts... I was successful in using high temp ptfe tape to wrap the threads of the brass male connectors for the tranny and oil cooler lines to stop leaks in a new radiator. No leaks and no problems so far after about 1000 miles.

Another quick tip: The top 10mm bolts on the front of the radiator that seem to be a big problem for most. I was able to easily remove and reinstall them by leaving them until last. Loosen all other bolts/connectors first and remove all except the two main bolts that hold the radiator to the frame. I was able to push the radiator/intercooler/ac cooler trio toward the engine and use a regular box end wrench without much force. Its a little tight but easier than trying to deal with extensions and universal joints. Hope this was helpful to someone!
