Sunroff will retract and go up and down at rear. It will not come forward to close. It is currently in the closed postion.
Is it the switch or motor. Any comments are appreciated.

    I am confused. It needs to be in the closed position to go up and down.

    If it stops closing about 2 inches before it is supposed to, try lubing the air deflector that pops up. If it does not easily go down it will hold up the sun roof.

      Hello Klaus,
      Thank you for your comment. The sunroof is currently in the closed position. When open, it would stop, if I pushed it with my fingers applying forward pressure it would close. This just started occuring last fall. I haven't fully opened it as I'm afraid it will not close.
