Radiator replacement question 850 1995

I have an 850 GLT that is in need of a radiator. I have found several sources however they want to know if its a 2 valve or 4 valve...the top of the engine says 20 valve which common sense tells me equates to 4 valves per cyl...???!!! Is this not correct? Every source I call tells me thats now how it works...I have only called 2 but I am getting the same response. Any input to clarify would be great because I am turning something simple into something difficult I think..;)

They mean on the radiator =)

If you've got an auto transmission, there are 2 valves on the radiator for the transmission cooler. Since your GLT is not a turbo model, there is no oil cooler on the other side.

    But yes, 20V = 4V/cylinder.

Well, in the big scheme of things, it wouldn't really matter, you could just block off the extra ports and it would work just fine. But you'll save yourself a bit of money this way. Now, if you had a turbo model and ordered the version with only a transmission cooler...then you'd be in a different situation.

And don't worry, I just had a huge "d'oh!" moment myself at work after deleting the file I'd been working on for 2 hours this morning. Is it Friday yet?

But yes, the 2-port version is the right one for your car.
