I seem to have a vacuum/air leak in the brake system. At first I could only hear it onboard while motor running when the brake pedal was pressed, now I can hear it at all times. Any ideas? Brake Booster?

Thanks in advance!

Probably the check valve on the vacuum line.

I appreciate your reply, could you be more specific if possible? Check valve on the vacuum line to what system? Would this eventually lead to brake failure? Thanks for your advice!

Your 'power brakes' uses engine vacuum, so there is a line from the engine to the brake booster cannister. In this line, there is a check valve so that when you push on the brake, air does not go back to the engine. It looks like a white plastic connector close to the booster.
