Odometer not working on XC

Hi ,
Just drove wife`s `03 XC70 today & noticed that the odometer hadn`t registered any more mileage that the last time I drove it three weeks ago.
We spent 2 grand back in August to have a DIM replaced & I`m assuming that the odometer malfunction is related.
Ideas?
