S70 T CODE P0014 S70 1999

Hi Gurus, i have a 99/00 S70 2.4T and i have just replaced the B5244T with another B2544T as the guy i bought it off cooked the engine. i installed a new cam belt as part of the fitout. now i am getting a p0014 code, which i gather has to do with the exhaust cam timing. the car runs fine, though is a bit lumpy for a second or 2 after cold start. does this have to do with the VVT? thanks

Yes. The exhaust cam is off by a tooth and needs to be repositioned.

Line up all three timing marks and you will see the exhaust cam off the mark. Then turn the engine clockwise another 90 degrees, and then back to the timing marks. This releases the tension on the VVT.

Pull back the tensioner and release the belt and reposition the cam.
