Power steering pump 850 1994

Just the other day my power steering pump started making a noise as though it didin't have any fluid in it, but it is at the proper level. I'm concerned that the pump might be going. Got 95,000 on the car. Has anybody ever had any problems with their power steering pumps??

    My steering pump has a mysterious fluid loss. I will hear that noise and sure enough I need lots of fluid. Once every two or three months.

    When my car was six months old the dealer had to fill the unit when it was bone dry. They were mystified at the time.
