850-94 and emission control, HO2S

Hi, past two years I've had problems in reaching the 0,97-1,03 O2 emission control value. last year only as the inspector had very positive attitude letting the engine run very long time to reach the limit value 1,03.
Thus I last summer tried to clean the HO2S sensor with carbon remover and burnt it then off with garden grill flame.
Yesterday the engine reached value 1,01 in emission control testing, nice.
I'm not sure if the cleaning did it or not but happy to have middle value.
The car has 300k km on the clock.
