I replaced the plugs in the car (only saw service at dealer...bought it used off a lease from them) with NGK BKR6EKUB that had three grounds.
Today, 60k later, I went to the shop that sold them to me and now he only has a two ground plug. He says NGK does not recommend a plug with three grounds, yet that is what he sold me last time.
The Volvo plug at the dealer and sold through FCP is actually cheaper. I'm thinking of putting in the Volvo plug and I'm a little tired of the song and dance I'm getting. I'm figuring that Volvo did the homework and they know the right plug for the car. Is there any advantage to getting another plug somewhere else, either in performance, longevity or cost?
