Rear wheel rotors squeeling. 850 1994

Hi All,
My rear brake discs have intermittently been squealing on both sides. It does it when on a crown road or when turning at speeds 40 mph or less. At higher speeds I don't hear it. I tightened the rear hub nuts two days ago by 1/8th turn and it all went away. Today the squeal is back as bad as before. Could this indicate that the wheel bearings are going bad or have gone bad ? The car has over 200K on it and I don't believe that the bearings have ever been changed.
Thanks for any info !
RK

While the rear bearing do fail, it is most unutual - especially for both sides! You were able to tighten the axle nut, which bothers me a lot. Those should have been set at the factory.

You can check the bearings by lifting the wheel and then try to shake the wheel. I would think something else is loose, like some suspension bushings.
