I've been considering installing IPD sway bars to my '98 hpt C70. Will that make a big difference? What about H&R springs?

Unless they have changed the design, installation of the IPD front anti-sway bar requires lowering the sub-frame, typically NOT a DIY project. While your Volvo will corner much flatter, you have to decide if it is worth the installation cost.

My new one sat in the garage for well over a year. I had it installed only when I had to replace the steering rack, which required dropping the sub-frame.

Do it now. Sway bars are the single biggest improvement you can make. Big difference.

Volvo has a strut tower brace that is even better than IPDs, with access to the brake fluid. I would look into that mod first.

The sway bar endlinks from IPD are first class, get them. The actual sway bar is a lot of work to install and probably won't buy you much in added cornering unless you Autocross a lot.

The H&R springs sound a little stiff for normal driving. The Eibach would be more to my liking.

I added the Volvo strut brace a few years back. Maybe the HD end links would be the next best option before the expense of the IPD sway bars and Installation cost.

What does the volvo brace look like? I scored one recently that bolted right up to my c70, but it looks different from the IPD model. I was trying to figure out who manufactured it.
