Timing belt inspection. 850

Anyone know what to look for when checking the timing belt for wear?

Mine does not look cracked or missing teeth. The teeth do not seem to be worn. I might take a picture and post.

Its been a while since it was changed 160,000KM I don't know how many KM's it needs to be changed at.

Thanks.

Every 115,000 Km or so. Teeth missing is doom, so you look for cracking on the teeth on the inside of the belt, which is just pending doom :)

When you do change the belt, the tensioner and water pump should still be OK, but you might want to replace the tensioner roller.
