Anybody has used the newer 17 inch Volvo wheels on an 850? Someone is selling a set in my town very reasonable (under 200 bucks)

    My only concern would be if your 850 has lowered or "sport" suspension, which causes a problem with wide tires rubbing on the inner fender. And, by wide, I mean over 215mm.

    If the rims still have tires on them, try mounting one and turning the wheel to lock and see if it rubs.

      I have 18x8 on mine. Scrubbing really happens pretty infrequently. I don't have the offset for mine, sorry...
      I carried a load from Home Depot, though, and my rear wheels were being eaten by the wheel wells and they did scrub over bumps, but that was probably a distance of about five inches...
