Anyone on board use Phillips Vision Plus bulbs on an S70? If so any improvement over standard H7 bulbs? Any problems with heat, or socket damage from higher current flow?

Vision Plus made a noticeable difference when I had them behind DOT lenses, but the improvement was dramatic once I got e-code (euro) lenses. I'd never go back to anything less than this combination.

Where did you get your e-code lenses? Today, a rock took out my passenger side lens, and this might be an opportunity to upgrade if not too expensive.

have you considered HIDs? They're more expensive (~350 set on e-bay) and they need some work to install but they substantially increase the visibility.

Yeah, they are better than the usual... But don´t get too excited, the difference is not that BIG...

I had the same questions about a month ago and yah...i came down to the conclusion of trying them out myself. After putting them in one at a time, I noticed that the vision plus are a bit whiter than the stocks and yah...driving with them..you can tell a difference in the spots right in front of your car. Yes they are brighter and they do a little bit farther...and with the deal they have an extra spare...I'd recommend them to anybody out there that wants better lighting.

Try the Philips H7 Rallye. What a magic difference. My spot lights are now obso;te. The oncoming cars do not experience any problems with these bulbs. At last I can now clearly see at night.
