Remote Door Lock S70 2000

My wife lost her remote door lock and purchase another one on Ebay. Come to
find out it needs "programing" to work and dealer and volvo inde want around $150 to do it. Any ideas here?

      Where are you located? 150 bones? DANG!

      My dealer (who is the only one in town and is NOTORIOUSLY PRICE GOUGING) only wants 50...

      Tell them if you buy the remote from them (~$100 bucks) you want it programmed free or close to it. Might work.

        misread your message. I told my dealer that my sister/mother/father had an extra remote and they gave it to me. I think thats why they did it for 50. I you told them you got it off ebay, they will take you for a ride.
