interior overhead lights 850 95

is there a way a practical way to modify the interior overhead lamps to eliminate the delay feature. i would like the light to simply go on and off when i press the switch. it would be fine if they were all independent or if they all worked together. any ideas? thanks.

You'll probably find a load of circuitry in the panel between the sun visors, which will no doubt contain the delay system.

I'm sure it can be modified, but why? The delay system is there so you can find things when you get into the car in the dark; it goes off when you turn on the engine, and reminds you if you haven't locked the car with the remote switch.

Altogether a damn useful feature in my view - why get rid of it?
