Bill--I don't know what the relay number is that I used, since it came with the installation kit (I used oem foglights). HOwever, there is a letter "J" stamped on the outside of the relay. The relay itself is a one-inch cube, and it goes in the far, upperleft corner of the relay board under the dash. You can not see the base for it unless you remove the two-inch long relay just to the right of it, and then you can see where it goes. It is tricky to install, and you have to drop the circuit board held in place with two 10 mm bolts in order to get you hand and arm up in there to put it in (just loosen the bolts--they are slotted, which means you have to jiggle and fuss with it to get it loose so it will drop out of the way). The relay used for the foglights is identical to two that sit under the hood in the relay circuit board that you can access with a screwdriver. I had a hellava time getting my foglights to come on after I installed the relay, and I finally, in desperation, switched it out for one of those in the engine compartment. I never had a problem elsewhere after I switched it out, so I can only assume that I didn't have the original one installed properly to begin with. If you need a relay number to order, pull one of the "J" marked relays from the engine compartment relay board and use the number on that.
I never did have anybody tell me what the two middle leads hanging down in front of my radiator are for. One person wrote and said maybe outside temperature sensor, but I have the winter package on the car and the temp sensor is already hooked up. It's a puzzle, for sure.
