98 V70 Voltage drops on front Oxygen sensor kicking on Check Engine light V70-XC70 1998

First I replaced the oxygen sensor thinking this would fix the problem. But the check Engine keeps coming back on. The Voltage starts out Good, but drops to below average levels, thus kicking on the light. Does anyone know how to fix this problem?

Heated O2 sensors are supposed to work that way. Once the sensor gets hot, the voltage drops. Are you looking at the correct wire or do you have a very smart scan tool? Did you have to splice wires or is this OEM compatible? What is the scanned error code?

Do you have ANY vacuum leaks around the intake manifold? Those need to be addressed first.

I will check for vacuum leaks this week. The Replacement Heated Oxygen sensor was direct OEM replacement (Bosch), no splicing. At the moment I don't have the error code, (This is my first post, and I should have this code. Sorry! But it was a very smart scan tool that myself and my friend were using. We did notice the rear sensor voltage did not drop as much as the front sensor though.
Thanks for replying to my post, I'll be in touch.
