Howdy & good morning:
I have a problem with our 2000 V70 XC AWD Wagon - it currently will not crank / start UNLESS I jump-start it from another vehicle. This car has, over the last 18 months or so, had four (4) occasions where it would not start after driving & then stopping (at the gas station, at the mall, at the grocery store). However, after waiting 2-5 minutes AFTER the initial "won't start", it would start & then behave properly for months.
I have checked the battery voltage (12.36V) after 15-20 minutes of the engine running, which seems to be normal / average voltage. However, the Volvo doesn't want to crank / turnover....any ideas out there?
Thanks for reading!
