I have a set of the same Philips HID's in the mail, and I was just going over your instructions on Bay 13, on ***VOLVOSPEED*** :) I have a couple questions.

You mention having to "make a .25"x.5" cut in the light housing." Do you have a better description or picture. To me, it looks like i have to cut the part of the housing which is cylindrical, horizontal, oriented front to back. Cutting the top portion of it. Am I correct? Do you do this on both sides, or just the passenger side as shown?

Also, you mentioned that "If the bulbs do not light then it is likely that you have the polarity backwards." Is there a danger of damaging anything should that happen?

I'm sure I'll have a better idea when I get the HID's in my hand.

Thanks in advance. Always in your debt with these modifications.

If the polarity is wrong they just wont light up. So not a big deal. The cut has to be made in both sides of the car. Basically the bulk of the harness and the recessed nature of the headlight make the cut nessessary. You will see once you have the kit.
