RE: Brakes Wobble when Depressed**Update** :( 850

UGH I still have a problem with this!!!
Klaus, I took the rotors off and checked and cleaned between them and the wheel hub, and checked my retaining pins.
It's still wobbling!! It's driving me crazy.

What are the chances I got bad rotors?
Maybe I bent something while knocking off the old rotors????

THX For any help...

The first time I replaced rotors, one of mine came off with a hammer. WOW, what a beating it took before it finally came loose.

OK, You took brake cleaner and wiped the shipping coating off the 'in' side of the rotor, put the rotor on the axle, and then wiped off the 'out' side with lots of brake cleaner and a cloth. Right?

AND you didn't get any finger prints on the rotors in the process...

So, did you bed in the brakes afterward?

I don't think the rotors are wobbling, because then the tires would also be wobbling. I think you just have bedded your brakes wrong and now there are uneven deposits of brake pad on the rotors. Called "warp".

Get those rotors red hot and then drive 5 minutes to let them cool off, after you clean them again.

Do you still have the old ones? Try putting them on to see what happens.
