I just replaced the bulbs after my dash went completely black....they have been going one by one until one morning no more dash lights. I just replaced them all and still no lights.Has anyone had this experience?

    There are a number of components in this circuit. Two overcurrent relays, the dimmer switch, the light switch and the ignition switch. There are three identical black cubical relays in the electrical panel and you can try swapping them around to see if that's the problem. Other than that it's component replacement time. BTY... My dash lights started failing after 1 - 2 minutes operation and it turned out to be the dimmer switch.

    Does your dimmer switch for the dash work at all?

        If you have a pick&pull junk yard close by, pick up a dimmer switch and a backup for the light switch, both are prone to fail over the years.

        You can also spray some electrical contact cleaner in the sliding dimmer switch and see if that helps at all.

        When you get it all working again, put the dash lights at about 80% or less of max light. That way the bulbs will never burn out.

          Just got around to doing this this evening and with a new dimmer slide VOILA the dash lights are back! Thanks so much for your help.....
