Ihave a '96 850 w/ the 20 valve n/a motor. the car is an automatic and has 99,850 miles I've been having fuel delivery problems and have replaced the pump, w/ no fix. Now I'm trying to check out both relays. the pump runs for a few secs when the key is on . when It starts it sounds normal and then starts to get rough and just get worse untill a few mins oass then it quits. I'm now trying to find a wiring diagram for a 96 850. My haynes manual gives all diagrams even the interior lightes but none on the fuel system I've done some searching but just found some deadlinks and some for 95 and older

    There is only one relay, the fuel pump relay #103 in the fuse box. Do a search on fuel pump relay to find out how to bypass it and determine if it has failed.

    You might also find someone with a fuel pressure guage to determine if the fuel pressure regulator is working properly. You should have around 40lbs of pressure.

    If the fuel filter is clogged...
