questions about front suspension V70-XC70 1998

my car is a 1998 V70 AWD. I believe the front suspension is the same as the FWD models... any confirmation any might have on this would be appreciated.

Spring Seats/bushings
I think it's been confirmed that:
- the original design is crap
- IPD did a good redesign with the "heavy duty" model
- XC90 spring seats fit perfectly and are also considered much more durable/capable
see here

Which is better/better value/most durable/etc? buying the regular XC90 spring seats or the IPD heavy duty ones?

IPD HD

Strut Mounts/bearings
it looks to me like the V70/XC70 mounts/bearings are the same as the XC90 ones.
Can this be confirmed?
If they would fit, would there be any advantage to using XC90 mounts as well?

j,

Use the XC-90 spring seats. They are more durable and are the same size as the 70 series.

I just replaced my front suspension with the XC-90 spring seats, new bearing plates and Bilstein HD struts.

I also put on Goodyear Eagle ResponsEdge tires.

The handling and ride of the car is truly amazing! It now performs like a real sport sedan.

Also, you should check the condition of the sway bar end-links and replace them with the IPD HD links.

Also, check the condition of the control arm bushings and and the ball joints.

Enjoy,
Bryan
