Cooland coming out from the back of the engine 850

Hi guys I have a volvo 850 1994 turbo, it overheat a few days a go (gauge temp was normal) i didnt realize until i got home that the car shot off when iddle and it seem that it didnt have any cooland at all, engine was really hot, next day i filled it with cooland and started the car and colland was coming out from the reservoir tank hose witch i went ahead and replace, but lots of cooland still coming out from somewere in the back of the engine (the side that faces the firewall) any ideas?? is there another hose or o ring in the back side, im afraid the block cracked and is shotting colland out, is that possible?? thanks guys any help will be appreciatte.

There is a solid coolant line going from the water pump back there. There is also a small rubber piece attached to it to an accessory line. It's a small, inexpensive piece, but a pain to get to. The water pump and that small rubber hose would be the first I checked...
It is possible that your block/head cracked and is leaking, but very unlikely. You would really have to drive it HARD without coolant to heat the engine that much.
All you can do is run the engine and pinpoint the leak.

Check the heater hoses that go from the middle of the block into the firewall. Or the heater core...is your carpet inside wet???
