My 2004 xc90 with 67000 miles is giving me a message that I need to "SRS service Airbag urgent." This started about a week ago with the lights on the radio going on and off then this message came up. It has been on and sometimes the lights on the radio will go on and off but then stop. I do know I need to go to the dealer to have them shut it off, but I am afraid that I am going to end up with a electrical NIGHTMARE!!!

    No, the dealer will just arbitrarily change out a computer or 2, charge you a bizzillion dollars and wait for you to come back a week later with the same problem.

    The dealer will get involved, just to turn off the SRS light. That error is usually caused by the driver's seat belt tensioner sensor going bad.
