'Morning, My SRS light came of last night and I am wondering what to expect since this is a dealer thing. I disconected the battery just to see if it would reset, but no such luck. It hesitated but then I heard a "click" and the light came back on.

Not real thrilled with messing around with something like this. Be my luck to trigger the air bags.

I have an appointment with the dealer but $$$$$$$$$.

Don't be too discouraged. The error usually happens with the driver's seat belt mechanism. Should be a painless fix, except for dealer's asking price.

Speaking of which, ask them about a "safety" warranty and how long these things are supposed to be covered by the factory.
