Oh well ! ... it was bound to happen ... I gave my S70 to my sister to drive to/from school ... she comes back with 2 of my 15" wheel covers

been rubbed against the sidewalk ! ... a dent and lots of scratches !

A local guy is currently repairing the 15" wheel cover for me for $ 5 ! The guy told me that he is going to re-paint the wheel cover back to the

factory color for free, but if I want any other colors, it is going to be extra cost !

So, I was thinking about re-painting ALL four wheel cover in that new trend color, " Gun Metal Silver " or whatever else is known as. If you don't know what color I am talking, see the below pic or website

I was wondering whether any of you know whether this color is available in a spray can or something where I can buy it at a local auto supply stores or/ do I have to go to a body shop to get this color ?

Any tips or/ advices on re-painting my wheel cover would be greatly appreciated too !!

I would suggest that you DO NOT paint the hubcaps a different color. That would be straight ghetto. Just go out and buy another hub.

They are your hubcaps, paint them any color you like!

I think that light colors look best. I've done wheels in yellow, white, and beige. I've had white hubcaps, and think they look fine, I'm doing a set in burgandy for a silver wagon.

Lots of people live in ghettos.
