6 Speaker System S70 98

Can two additional speakers be added in the rear doors of a six-speaker system? Are these (empty) speaker locations pre-wired on a sedan?

Are these 6 1/2" speakers?

    I don't know whether or not the rear doors are pre-wired but you can definitely get a better quality speaker for much less than what the dealer would charge you for their (probably Alpine) speakers. And depending on how good a speaker you want, you should be able to find a pair of drop-in speakers for less than $200 Canadian - electronics and car audio is cheap these days.

    Dear G.R.,

    YES !, two additional speakers can be added in the rear door ! ... Yes, they are pre-wired too !

    Volvo do sells these Alpine speakers, but I have found that audio shops

    sells the same pair of speakers for less !

    The cheapest quote for a pair of speaker ( I forgot the size ) was $ 200

    Cdn, including installation !
