Just bought a used 850 with 6 cd changer in trunk and have found that it will play for a little while, stop for a few seconds, play, stop, etc. Anyone come across this and figured a solution?

Either the CDs are dirty or the player is dirty. Do not try to play RW CDs, they tend to get stuck in the machine.
