Blue electic box below left tail light 850 95

Does any one know what the blue electic box fitted below the left tail light does? And has anybody had any dificulty wiring a tow hitch? (i.e. I don't want the bulb failure idiot light to come on.

    I believe that's your bulb malfunction indicator relay. If you use an aftermarket trailer hitch wiring convertor wired as they suggest, you won't have any problems with it. Don't worry about that relay.

      Just a FYI> I used to tow my 18' boat with my volvo and the tranny did not like it at all. (I now have a new tranny and a van to tow the boat)
