Pwr Steering Fluid S70 99

The power steering fluid level is below the add mark. Will bring car in for service in a few weeks. Until then can I add any ATF fluid, or does it have to be Dexron III?

If I were you I would just flush the whole system. You can do it in under 30 minutes and for less than 10 dollars in fluid. But to answer your question I use Mobile One ATF.

Sorry its off topic - But im just curious... What happened that the Turbo had to be replaced @ 4,000 Miles!!!

The short story is that the dealer had the car for a week, said they replaced the turbo. I picked car up on a Friday and it was still smoking.

Car went back to dealer on Monday. Again they kept it for a week saying the replacment turbo was defective, and they replaced it. Dealer said the original turbo "broke down" because an engine drain hole was not opened at the factory. Sure!!!!! This from one of the better dealers in the area.

Re. Pwr steering, I added about a cup of fluid and will let dealer do the wty work of finding a leaking pump, steering rack(s),or connection.
