Windblocker C70

I love my 1999 C70. I can see owning this car for a while...

Now that the cool weather is coming, I have considered a wind blocker behind the front seat...

Does anyone have any views on the functionality of this device, and where I may be able to find one?

I have owned many rag tops in the past, but never used one of these...

KS

I have and use one on my 04.
It does seem to work.

I purchased it in Gothenberg when I purchased the car.
Have you tried the dealer ?

Carl

Last time I went to the dealer (Closest Volvo dealer, I bought it used from a used car lot), they charged me $300 dollars because I brought it to them for a convertible top that would not work properly...

They could not find the problem, and charged me for their time, with the finding of "your top is broken".

I took it home, spent a few hours on it, and fixed the broken wires in the top that went to the limit switches on the boot.

I have not been back since.

I have seen these wind screens in the past, and made one for myself and took it on a recent run of about 400 miles... It did work a bit, but did not seem to make that much difference to me... A little, but not that much...

Thanks for the advice...

(800) 689-0021 Darrel Waltrip Volvo. They are in TN, but have amazing prices and will ship to you cheap. Tell them you heard about them from brickboard or volvospeed and they will get you a discount. I doubt you can find a new one cheaper than there.
