Any 'sensor' will have electrical wires. That looks like a disconnect to me. Just mash both sides and pull, so long as the fuel line clamps are loose where they go over the engine.

On P1 cars, the aluminum cover over the injector wires is just pulled forward and off. It is a pressure fit.

Well I found out from a dealer that this item monitors fuel pressure, Still at a loss on how to remove the fuel line from the rail.

The dealer mentioned a 25 torx screw which the only one I saw holds on the pressure release value. I unscrewed it and the pressure release spins freely but for the life of me can figure how the line disconnects.

I could use some insight from the folks.

    Madness.

I never saw that type of fuel connection. Looks like it collects dirt and jams up. Blow it off with air pressure then lube it with WD-40 It should work better then. I can't understand, what was wrong with the connections they had on earlier models ? Tell us how you finally got it apart. Pics are real good.
    Thanks111 RK
