Different warnings S80

Has anyone experienced this: We have a 2000 S80, which runs great - perfectly in fact. Yet, every time we crank it up a different error message comes up. Sometimes ABS, sometimes emmission system, sometims alarm system, sometime check engine, sometime even brake failure, sometime nothing. Anybody got any clues as to what is happening and what to do?

From similar descriptions on other forums, it sounds like the ABS module needs repair/replacement. Some guys even repair the broken solder on the printed circuit board themselves. I have not done it personally. There are a few places you can send the unit for repair which is much cheaper than replacement by a dealer.
