Rotation of Tires 2004 S80 S80

Greetings,
I would like to rotate my tires instead of using the dealer. I understand that these are rotation/directional tires and must be placed Left/Front to Left/Back--Left/Back to Left Front and the same procedure regarding the right or passenger side. Is there anything else I should consider?/: balancing, pressure in front different from the back, going 3K, 5K, 10K etc. My normal driving is highway with generally straight-line-minimal turning conditions.
Thank you

Currently own:
2004 S80 144K mi
1996 960 320K mi
1993 940 330K mi

Correct. Rotate your tires every time you change the oil. Check the book to find out what the lug nuts need to be torqued at.
The 1993-2000 cars were easy, the jack point allowed both wheels on a side to be off the ground so rotation is extremely easy. Not so with the new cars.

common sense does trump a PhD. I have the latter but not the former. Thanks for the response.

The lug nuts for your year are torqued to 100 ft. lbs.
